1963 MGB ROADSTER FIA Rally Car

Coming to the market….

Early “pull-handle”, alloy bonnet car. Original shell rebuilt in 2003, with additional upkeep by Halls Garage in 2016. 1840c.c. 3 bearing engine, gas-flowed cylinder head, Piper 270 cam, SUs  and “works” type inlet manifold. Electric fan, recent Zircotec Maniflow “works” exhaust manifold, comp single box system. 3 syncro overdrive gearbox. Banjo axle rebuilt 2016 with new propshaft.

Prepared as a loose replica of a 1964 works rally car, has a current FIA Historic Technical Passport. Original seats currently fitted; rear FIA cage, full harness belts, FIA cut-off switch, navigator’s foot rest, fire extinguisher, Moto Lita wheel, Brantz 2 tripmeter, Lucas spots, 72 spoke comp wire wheels with Avon 185/70 14s, “works” hard top with minivan vent.

FIA Period F, Class GTS11 valid until 2020. Some spares and original bits & pieces.
